The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Thursday 20th February 2026 Is “Eternal Death”
Read: 2 Thessalonians 1:5–10 (KJV)

“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Eternal death is not God’s desire for anyone because it represents the ultimate separation from Him. It is reserved only for those who deliberately reject His offer of salvation. It is a tragic and irreversible outcome for anyone whose name is missing from the Book of Life.
Physical death is not the end. The Bible teaches that those who die without accepting Christ will face spiritual and eternal separation from God. A clear example is the rich man who mistreated Lazarus.
After his death, he found himself in torment and desperately wished for another opportunity to warn his family about the reality of hell, but his request was denied (Luke 16:19–31). His story reminds us that opportunities to choose God are limited to this present life.
My dear child, because you are still alive, you have the opportunity to escape eternal death. Once a person leaves this world, the window for repentance closes. If there is anything in your life that does not please God, now is the time to turn away from it. Forsake sin completely and commit yourself to obeying God’s Word.
God’s desire is to save, not to condemn—but each person must personally accept His gift of salvation.
KEY POINT:
The only escape from eternal death is in Jesus. Accept Him now if you have not done so.
