The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Monday 17th February 2026 Is “Walk with God”

“And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.”
When God called Abraham to leave his homeland and follow Him, Abraham obeyed immediately—even though he did not know where he was going. He trusted God without seeing the full plan. That kind of faith made him stand out, and today, he remains a powerful example for us.
In Yorubaland, a Christian is called Onigbagbo, meaning “a person of faith.” That name reminds us that our journey with God is built on trust. Walking with God means believing Him, obeying Him, and following His instructions—even when they do not make complete sense at the time.
God is calling you too. He is calling you to separate yourself from sin and anything that draws you away from Him. Just as Abraham surrendered everything to follow God, you must also be willing to surrender your plans, habits, and desires to Him.
The goal of Christianity is to spend eternity with God. To walk closely with Him, you must choose holiness daily. The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God and was taken away because he pleased Him (Genesis 5:24). What a testimony! You too can walk closely with God by living in obedience and staying away from sin.
If there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to God, ask Jesus to forgive you and cleanse you. Trust Him to give you the strength to live right. A daily walk with God begins with faith, obedience, and a sincere heart.
