TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 31ST JULY 2025

Beloved, in recent times, there’s been a noticeable trend where many people are relocating from their home countries in search of greener pastures, often without seeking the guidance of the Lord. While it is not wrong to desire progress or change, as believers, we must never make such critical life decisions independent of God’s leading. Scripture clearly instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to rely solely on our reasoning.

Even if you feel the urge to leave your nation due to challenges, ensure that your steps are ordered by God. And if He says stay, then stay! Never disconnect completely or speak destructively about your land of origin. Remember, God is still at work. Our nation may be going through a season of pain, but like a woman in labor, that pain is often a sign that something new is about to be born. Can a nation be born in a day? Yes, it can, if God says so.

God is not finished with your nation. His prophetic agenda will surely come to pass. My prayer is for the grace to witness God’s restoration firsthand and rejoice in it. And I believe you, too, will partake of the glory that is coming. Isaiah 49:24–26 (NLT) says: “Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go? But the Lord says, the captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.”

Proverbs 11:21 reminds us that the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. Regardless of your location or present situation, every yoke that has mocked your faith will be broken. Every voice raised against your destiny and your land will be silenced. No altar is greater than the altar of our God. Our Rock is mightier than their rock!

So, before you make that move, whether in business, relocation, career, or marriage, seek God’s face. Don’t be driven by frustration. Let God lead you. The same God who blessed Isaac in Gerar during a time of famine is still on the throne. He has not changed, will not change, and cannot change. That is why I know that you are coming out of every adversity victorious.
