Open Heavens For Teens 29th January 2026 – Are You Overwhelmed?

As a teenager, life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Schoolwork, friendships, family expectations, and pressure from social media or society may pull you in different directions.

When these things pile up, you may feel tired, confused, or even discouraged. At such moments, it is important to remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In today’s memory verse, David admitted that his heart was overwhelmed, and he cried out to God for help. He asked God to lead him to the Rock that is higher than he was. That Rock is Jesus Christ—our firm and unshakeable foundation. Jesus understands what you are going through and offers peace that goes beyond human understanding (Philippians 4:7).

My dear child, if you feel overwhelmed right now, make prayer your first response. Talk to God about everything that troubles your heart and ask Him to lift your burdens. Prayer connects you directly to God, and it costs you nothing.

Also, take time to worship God with songs of praise. Worship helps to lighten your heart, refocus your mind, and remind you of God’s promises. As you praise Him, remember that Jesus is your Burden Bearer, and He will never leave you alone.
