  10. “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own [authority;] but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
  11. “Believe Me that I [am] in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
  12. ” Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
  13. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

  17. “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE  FOR 14TH JUNE 2025.

If you know where you are going, the next essential thing is to know how to get there. There is only one God, the same God who became man and came to the world to save mankind. Jesus is not a religious teacher or just one of the prophets, He is God Himself. Jesus is a supreme Being – the only way to the living God. There are no other ways. He is the Truth; He is Life and the true source of life.

The Israelites knew about God, but when the same God they claimed to know showed up in the form of Jesus, many rejected and refused to follow Him. They wanted to go to God, but they rejected the only true way to Him. Thomas desired to know the way (verse 5); Phillip desired to know the father, and the answer to their requests was right with them.

No one can come to God except through Jesus. When you know Him, you know God and through Him, you have direct access to God the Father. The knowledge of this mystery gives us direct access to the Father through Jesus which makes us enjoy sweet fellowship with God.

PRAYER: Dear Jesus, You are the true and only way to God the Father, grant me the grace to follow You till the end in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
