Being a stranger in your own land means to be disconnected from one’s community and country’s customs or patterns. Whilst this could have negative connotations in the world, for a child of God, this is an advantageous reality! Stay with me; the verse above calls you a chosen generation, a holy nation, a peculiar people, when you chose to accept Jesus as Lord over your life you were immediately separated from every aspect of this world!
Every issue your generation faces, has zero effect as you belong to a chosen generation! Your nations economic turmoil, geopolitical landscape or healthcare as a Christian, have no power over your own success as you belong to a holy nation free from earthly grievances! You are a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, a stranger to the world’s problems.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I live in this world, but I am not of it! The issues the world faces are not my portion! I am a chosen generation! I live above the systems of this world. Amen.
