GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 3RD AUGUST 2025.
After preaching a sermon in Galilee, Jesus stood by the shore of lake Gennesaret were he saw a group of fishermen, Simon Peter and his crew scrubbing their nets after an unsuccessful fishing excursion. The crew of fisherman had toiled the whole night with their nets cast close to the shore catching absolutely nothing! Within the words Jesus spoke next a valuable lesson is revealed! “Launch into the deep and let down your nets for a draught.” When Peter listened to His command, they caught a great multitude of fish, so much so that their nets broke!
As a child of God, you can never expect a bumper harvest if you sit and wait by the shore. The shore represents your comfort zone, your complacency or familiar territory, if you want to experience all God has to offer in this year of the chain breaker, God’s commandment for you is to LAUNCH INTO THE DEEP! Pray more, sow more, serve more; deepen every aspect of your relationship with God and opportunities will flow into your net!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I am launching into the deep! From today, I am getting deeper in all things pertaining to God’s kingdom! Like a fish darting toward the bait on a fishing line, this year, new possibilities shall rush to me in abundance. Amen.
