Various types of storms arise in life now and again, be it the doctor’s report saying they discovered a cancerous lump, or getting laid off from work. It’s easy to wallow in self-pity and depression and even blame God for “deserting” you.
The Lord Jesus Christ gave us a perfect example of how to respond in such situations. The Bible says the waves beat upon the ship until it was full, yet the Lord was fast asleep till they woke Him up! He got up, cool, calm, and composed, opened His mouth, and commanded what He wanted to see! Instead of cowering and crying, you have to rise and confront every situation that tries to exalt itself above the knowledge of God. SPEAK from your position of authority in Christ and command peace and order to be restored in your life. KNOWING who you are in Christ, you will ALWAYS have peace within you, regardless of the storms around you, making it easy for you to command peace to any storm in
your life.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I rise today, I rebuke every wind blowing against me. I command peace in every situation. My life is filled with peace in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
