The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Wednesday 30th October 2024 Is “God In Your Room”
Read: Luke 19:5-6
5. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
One evening, my Father in the Lord, Pa Josiah Akindayomi, taught us in Bible study that if a fellow stays in a house that is not tidy, God will never enter there. My wife and I were so bothered about the teaching that we couldn’t sleep until we carried out an emergency cleaning of our rooms and the children’s room that night despite being tired. We removed cobwebs, cleaned under our beds, and arranged wardrobes. Our children were not happy about the inconvenience, but we had to do what needed to be done.
If you want God to be with you, you must make your heart and surroundings clean for Him to be comfortable in. Don’t leave dirty dishes in your room, litters of paper and nylon on the floors, or your toilet unflushed. It is not responsible to appear clean outside but remain dirty inside. If you make your room or house clean, God will keep sicknesses away. He will eat with you always, protect you from evil, and follow you everywhere you go.
