FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2: 1-10
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared unto all men.

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 22ND DECEMBER 2024
Thank God for His unmerited and undeserved favour. God has saved and delivered the whole of humanity from the pangs of sin and death, and we should be grateful for that. The Bible says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians. 1:12-13). This grace, however, cannot be experienced until you activate it! Grace is the gift of God to us. One thing is for God to give you a gift; another thing is for you to perform your responsibility to receive that gift. You must receive and activate God’s grace if you must experience its saving and deliverance power. How do you do that? “For by grace are ye saved through Faith…?” You have been saved Free of Charge by grace but through FAITH. Faith is your 0nIy master key to activating God’s grace. “For by grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:8-9).
We can interpret John 3:16 this way: “For God so love the world that he extends His grace to all men that whosoever believe on that grace will not perish but have everlasting life.” So, we have grace already but it is our responsibility t0 accept that grace, “F0r the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men” (Titus 2: 11). Yes, it has appeared to you, but have you accepted that grace? God won’t force you.
Beloved, it is important that you have faith in the finished, complete and perfect work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. That is the key to activating the grace of God and putting it to work in your life. What you do yourself cannot save you or grant you the best God has to Offer. Your best effort will still fall short of God’s expectation. Your self-righteousness is like a filthy rag before G0d. All things are yours by grace and by virtue of all that Jesus Christ did for you.

MORNING
1. I silence every force from the pit of hell assigned to distract me from experiencing the joy of salvation, in the name of Jesus.
2. I activate the grace of God for my life, by faith, in the name of Jesus.
3. I lose myself from the grip and curse of the Law and move into the dispensation of grace, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I receive the grace to work out my salvation with fear and trembling, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, increase the effectual working of Your grace in my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. I overcome the power of sin and anything that can destroy God’s grace upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. I declare that the grace of God is sufficient for me at all times and in all situations, in the name of Jesus.
