TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 5TH MAY 2024
You see, one of the important things you must know about your walk with God is that you are a very vital part of God’s design. You are not an appendage. You are not just hanging in there. God is not putting up with you. You are a part of God’s grand agenda.
The Message translation of today’s Bible passage says: “…As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:10-11 (MSG).
“I know what am doing”! That is what God is saying. “I know what am doing concerning your life. I know what am doing concerning your family. I know what am doing concerning your business. I know what am doing concerning your finances. I know what am doing concerning your health.” God has committed Himself to ensure that your desires manifest. What you are believing in shall manifest. If you look at Ezra Chapter 1, all that God said came to pass against all odds.
God has committed Himself to ensure that you come out of the challenges you have been going through. The colourful future He has prepared for you will come to pass. No power will stop it because God is committed to doing you good all the days of your life.
Stop focusing on what the enemy is doing. Begin to focus on what God is doing in your life. Zero in on God. God cannot lie. “God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (KJV).
