TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 25TH FEBRUARY 2024
You cannot afford to flow with the norm if you want to make an impact. You can’t flow with the tide. Rather, you should be ready to flow against the tide. That is how to make an impact. People will see you alone and expect you to drown, but you are flying.
We live in a toxic world, but you don’t have to dwell in the toxicity in the world. Right from his father’s house, Joseph was making a difference. He was a blessing. His older brothers were bad guys and were messing up. But Joseph still refused to join them. He didn’t buy into the falsehood that if you can’t beat them, you join them. You can beat them!
Joseph was sold into slavery because he chose to make a difference. But God’s destiny concerning his life was not aborted. His brothers wanted to cut short his dream but never succeeded. You see, when God gives you a dream, the dream protects you. The dream fights your battle and shuts the mouth of the enemy to ensure that you fulfill what God has said concerning you.
Whilst Joseph was a slave in the house of Potiphar. The entire household was blessed because of Joseph. Potiphar was abundantly blessed because of what Joseph was carrying. Is what you are carrying affecting anyone? Are you a blessing where you are? Joseph was a slave and had no property, yet God began to bless the land because of him.
What type of testimony do we hear concerning you where you are living? Is your community being blessed because you are living on that street? In your locality, are you a troublesome person? Are you the type that when you arrive, everybody is running?
Potiphar was blessed because of Joseph. People ought to be blessed by merely associating with us.
