TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 12TH FEBRUARY 2024
There is a built-in mechanism in believers that will always cause them to come back with singing and joy. Not with mourning! And not with weeping or lamentation! You will always come back to testify of the goodness of God. That will be your portion in Christ because you cannot fail.
By your connection to Heaven, your ground is a favored ground. Being a covenant child of a covenant-keeping God guarantees victory for you in every area of your life. You cannot fail! Failure is not in your DNA.
In Christ, you have peace with God. How did it happen? Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Not by your effort! Not because you are a better person! Not because you performed better. Not because you have been in church more than anyone. And not because you are more committed. Jesus did it.
God is not mad at you! God is not angry at you. Stop looking over your shoulder. God is not coming after you with a hammer to break your head. No! God is for you and has assured you that He will never leave or forsake you. He will fight your battle. He will destroy the power of darkness on your behalf. He will render ineffective the power of the enemy. The devil cannot have his way in your life. You will celebrate the abundance of rain. I know it without a shadow of a doubt in my heart because it is your covenant right.
If you are in Christ, you have been given access by faith. You are standing on grace ground. You are not standing on a cursed ground. On this grace ground, you will always enjoy the goodness of God. And your ground will always produce. Even if it is a desert, it must produce. If others are stranded, it must not affect you. Things will turn around on your behalf. You are not going to end a disaster.
