The Topic of Trem Devotional for 9th September 2024 “God Wants To Have Advance Information”

Memorise: Matthew 3:16-17 (KJV)

“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 9TH SEPTEMBER 2024

At the baptism of Jesus, the Father spoke! “I want you to know this man being baptized is not just an ordinary person. He is my Son, and He is pleasing to me.” Jesus didn’t have to do anything before the Father said that. He didn’t have to prove any point. God just looked at Him and said this is my Son, and I delight in Him. Jesus heard it, and everyone heard it! Every time God makes a promise and a commitment to you through the scriptures or prophetic utterances, it is not only you who hears it. And the reason God tells you and gives you promises is for you to have advance information.

God’s promises to you are advanced information of the blessings He has made available to you spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, and in different areas of your life. Why is He telling you? Because the devil is going to come to challenge it. The onus now lies on you to say to the devil: You cannot challenge this thing and make me do anything because I am already established on what the Father told me ever before you came.

God is always going ahead of the devil. So, there is no new thing he will pull out that God has not already settled. For instance, the bible tells us that the lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. In other words, there was already provision for salvation before man fell. When the devil came against Adam, it was too late. That was why the Father had to make a sacrifice and covered Adam. Why? The lamb has already been slain. This understanding will make you enjoy your Christian life and will establish you.
