TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 27TH MARCH 2023
Do you know why believers rejoice? It is because we have better hope. If the trumpet sounds, we are off. Don’t let anyone frighten and threaten you and say: Are you sure you will go to Heaven? All you need to be in Heaven when the trumpet sounds are Jesus. If the trumpet sounds, your dress stays here. Your shoes, hair attachment, and jewellery will be left on your seat. Even your body is going nowhere. If you like, change your colour, and your body will not go to Heaven.
Our natural body is not the body that will go to Heaven. This is because the natural body cannot access Heaven. That is why every believer will be changed when the trumpet sounds. In a twinkle of an eye, your body will be changed. You will put on a glorious body. A body that can lift off and defy the law of gravity. That is why you should feed the spirit and starve the body.
Feed your Spirit more and more. I am not saying it’s wrong not to take care of yourself but ensure that the spirit man is well fed because this body is not going. Develop your spirit man by feeding on the word of God. That is the part of you that has a place in eternity – your body goes nowhere.
When the rapture occurs, we are off and the whole world will be shaken. They will ask, “where are these people”? We are gone! Any time you think of Heaven, rejoice because the believer already has the guarantee of Heaven. You have a seal in your spirit of God’s ownership. There’s a seal inside you that says, this one belongs to God. And so, when the time comes, the Owner will take what belongs to Him.
So, when people begin to frighten you with Heaven, just smile and let them know you have already arrived. So, it is an abnormality and abuse of the finished work of Christ for a new creation to live a life of fear of hell when Christ has already made you fit for heaven. Heaven is your guaranteed destination. Rejoice.
