TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 28TH JULY 2025
Beloved, under the old covenant, the priests stood daily, repeatedly offering sacrifices that could never take away sin. But Jesus, by one perfect sacrifice, took away sin once and for all and sat down, signifying the completion of the redemptive work. Nothing more needs to be added.
Jesus rose from the grave with all authority and declared: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore…” (Matthew 28:18-19 KJV) He also declared: “And these signs shall follow them that believe…” (Mark 16:17-18 KJV) That power and liberty have now been given to you. In His name, you have authority over darkness, over sickness, and every lie of the enemy. You are no longer bound. You are no longer under the weight of sin and condemnation.
God is no longer looking at your sin; He is looking at Jesus. And since Jesus cannot be denied, you too cannot be denied. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” (Hebrews 8:12 KJV) It’s not because God is soft on sin. It’s because Jesus paid the price in full. The blood of Jesus has gone into your past, is speaking in your present, and has secured your future. That is why your sin no longer exists in the sight of heaven.
Child of God, stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free. Walk boldly in victory. You are a beloved child of the Most High. The sacrifice of Christ has empowered you to live in absolute freedom.
