TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 28TH AUGUST 2025
Beloved, the shed blood of Jesus Christ is the very heart of Christianity. Without it, there would be no salvation, no redemption, and no Christianity at all. Our hope, our faith, and our eternal life rest entirely on the power of His blood.
Many people sing about the blood of Jesus and even declare it in prayer, but few truly understand what the blood accomplished and how to apply it in daily life. You can shout about the blood, but it becomes effective only when you understand its power and walk in its reality.
Every drop of blood that Jesus shed was purposeful. In Gethsemane, as He prayed in agony, His blood was shed. When the crown of thorns pierced His head, His blood was shed. When His hands and feet were nailed to the cross, His blood was shed. When the soldier pierced His side, His blood was shed.
This blood was not wasted. Jesus took His blood into the heavenly sanctuary and sprinkled it on the holy things before the Father (Hebrews 9:12, 24). That act sealed our eternal redemption.
Why was this blood shed? For your salvation, your healing, your deliverance, your freedom from shame, lack, and every curse. By His blood, you have been redeemed into blessing and into the fullness of the kingdom life. That means anything contrary to this, whether sickness, bondage, poverty, or oppression, must be resisted. You must not accept them as “normal.”
When you understand what the blood has accomplished, you will stand your ground in faith. You will boldly declare: “No, Christ shed His blood for me. I refuse sickness. I reject lack. I renounce shame. I embrace the life, blessing, and freedom that His blood secured.”
