TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 27TH MARCH 2025
When Jesus came to die for you, your sins were forgiven once and for all; past, present and future. God lives in the eternal now, He lives outside of time, but still controls time. In His domain, there is no time limit or time frame, everything is now. He sees outside of time, and therefore, He saved you from of all your sins for a lifetime; He forgave all of them for a lifetime.
The book of Colossians 2:14-15 (KJV) says “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” In other words, He disarmed the devil of the power he had.
Therefore, the devil can no longer condemn you. No more condemnation in your life. The believer is free! Sin is no longer an issue to us. Don’t wake up in the morning with sin consciousness. Wake up with righteousness consciousness.
There is no classification for sin. Even the one you are thinking in your heart is sin, and the bible says every soul that commits sin shall die. The truth is that God is a merciful God. So, let’s not make God who He is not. Believers should be the most joyful people on earth. Many are not joyful because the devil keeps jumping on their shoulders, battering their minds and condemning them. And so they are not even able to pray.
But the Believer already has forgiveness. The believer has redemption and the forgiveness of sin. Ephesians 1:7, emphasizes this truth. So what happens to the mistakes I make regularly? The perfect sacrifice of Christ took care of them all.
