TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 23RD SEPTEMBER 2025
Beloved, when Jesus came to die for you, your sins were forgiven once and for all – past, present, and future. God exists outside of time and controls time. In His eternal realm, there are no limits; He sees the entire span of your life at once. From that perspective, He saw all your sins and, through Christ, forgave them completely.
The scripture declares: “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:14–15 KJV). This means Jesus disarmed the devil and stripped him of every legal ground to accuse you. The believer is free! No more condemnation, no more bondage, only liberty in Christ.
Child of God, sin is no longer the issue for us. Don’t wake up each morning with sin-consciousness. Wake up with righteousness-consciousness, knowing that the Greater One lives inside you.
Remember, there is no “classification” of sin. Even the wrong thought in the heart is sin, and the Bible says the soul that sins shall die. But thank God for His mercy and the finished work of Christ. The devil’s strategy is to weigh you down with guilt, batter your mind, and rob you of joy so that you cannot even pray. Refuse to give him that power.
You already have forgiveness! The Bible does not say you will only have forgiveness after you confess. It says in Colossians 1:14: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” (KJV). This is your present possession. So, what about the mistakes you make daily? The perfect sacrifice of Christ has already taken care of them all.
Live with this assurance: you are eternally forgiven, eternally redeemed, and eternally loved.
