TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 21ST FEBRUARY 2025
We have an advocate at the right hand of the Almighty who is always speaking for us. When the devil accuses you saying, you have done this and done that, God says yes, it is true, but Jesus paid for it. The phrase ‘save to the uttermost’ means complete and total. It means save you now and save you through eternity. It means save you for now and save you for the future. He is able to save them that come to God, by him seeing He ever liveth to make intercession.
The book of Philippians 1:6 (KJV) says “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
Colossians tells us to “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” (Colossians 2:8-10 KJV)
Have confidence in Him, no matter how bad it is. Be confident that it would turn around. Your story will not end in shame. The price has been paid. You are entitled to good life. He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. No matter what the doctor has said, you are coming out of it. Be confident in Him who has begun the good work. He started it and He will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. He will do it! You will buy that car. You will build you house. You will dedicate your babies. He didn’t bring you this far to let you down.
