Quit carrying around all the worry, the stress, the disappointment. Life is going to happen. If you’re only going to have a good mood if things go your way, then you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. That’s surface living. You have to go deeper. Say like Paul, “None of these things move me.
I’m not going to let other people, delays, and what doesn’t work out sour my day.” Turn that over to God. You’re not supposed to go through life worried, frustrated, discouraged. Yes, you may feel upset, but you don’t have to act on it. You may feel offended, but you don’t have to take the offense inside. You may feel discouraged, but you can override it and encourage yourself. You can think some new thoughts.
