The parable of the prodigal son shows us that when God restores, you’re not going to come out almost as good, grateful that at least you survived. You’re going to come out fully restored, full of joy. You’re going to come out healthy, blessed, prosperous. Get rid of those lies that say, “You’ll always be at a disadvantage; look at the mistakes you’ve made.” That’s the enemy trying to keep you from putting on the best robe. He’d love for you to go through life feeling condemned, unworthy. Don’t take that bait.
