Joel Osteen Daily Inspiration for Today SATURDAY 7TH JANUARY.
Your time on this earth is not unlimited. When the time came for Jesus to be crucified, the Scripture says, “He set His face toward Jerusalem because His hour had come.” No more going to the desert and feeding five thousand, no more waiting at the well for the woman, no more stopping by Zacchaeus’ house for dinner.
Those things were okay for that season, but now He didn’t have time for distractions. His hour had come. God is saying to you, “Your hour has come.” If you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to do like Jesus and run your race. You can’t get distracted by things that are keeping you from your purpose.
Quit beating yourself up over the past. The enemy is called the accuser. He’d love for you to live in regrets, down on yourself, not enjoying the grace of God because you’re so focused on what you did wrong, the mistakes you’ve made, trying to hide the scars. Those scars weren’t meant to be hidden. You have nothing to be ashamed of. You are forgiven; you are redeemed. The scar is a testimony of the mercy of God.
