Too often, we think we have to pay God back for our mistakes. No, recognize the price has already been paid. All your sins past, present, and future have been taken care of. When we’re living guilty, begging God to forgive us, telling him how unworthy we are, we’re saying let me get up on the cross. Let me pay for this. But the way to honor God is not by being down on yourself, living guilty, unworthy; it’s by receiving His mercy.
The only tools the enemy has are deception and lies. There is no truth in him. You have to become skilled at dismissing his lies. He’ll try to talk you out of your destiny.
