Our relationships are sacred. God gives us people in life to love. Don’t treat them like they’re ordinary, common. They’re a priceless gift from God. He has entrusted you with His most valuable possession: someone He made in His own image, someone He calls a masterpiece. Don’t throw around hurtful words, say things that wound, degrade and make them feel not valuable.
Use your words to lift, to encourage, to push people forward, not set them back. When we recognize something is sacred, we should treat it with more respect.
