If you’re spending more time talking about your problems than you are the promises, then that’s out of balance. Maybe you’re not seeing things turn around, you’re not seeing increase, promotion, healing, because you’re putting God in remembrance of the wrong things. You’re telling Him what wasn’t fair, who left you, and how bad the medical report is.
Try a different approach. Take a break from telling God everything that’s wrong. He already knows your needs. There’s nothing wrong with asking, but at some point, you need to switch over to thanking Him for what He’s promised.
