Start receiving the approval, receive the honor, receive the blessing. You can’t love others the way you should without loving yourself. You’re supposed to feel good about who you are. You compliment others, why don’t you receive the compliments, why don’t you receive the love.
It’s not honoring God to go around down on yourself, feeling unworthy, like you don’t measure up. The Scripture says, “God has crowned you with His favor.” You want to honor God? Put your crown on. Put your shoulders back, hold your head up high, and receive the honor.
