Todays Word Joel Osteen 4th October 2025 – Your Vindicator

David had defeated Goliath, won great victories over Israel’s enemies, and served King Saul faithfully. But Saul grew jealous of David and tried to kill him, forcing him to flee to the desert and live in caves. Saul kept chasing David for years. One night, David got his big chance to kill Saul, to finally put an end to this man who was trying to kill him and making his life miserable. But David wouldn’t do it, because he knew that Saul was God’s anointed king. Even though David had been anointed to be the next king, he determined to do the right thing and let God be his vindicator. David took the high road, forgave his enemy, and proved to God that he was content to wait for His timing to take the throne.

Are you in a difficult situation today? That’s not how your story ends. That’s one chapter in the book that God has written for your life. There are many great chapters up ahead. Keep doing the right thing. You haven’t seen, heard, or imagined where He’s taking you.

“Father, thank You that I can trust You to take me through difficulties and unfair situations. Thank You that You have written my story and there are great chapters ahead. I believe and declare that You are my vindicator and that You will deal with the enemy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
