We don’t have to live in fear. There are a lot of negative things that could happen: accidents, sicknesses, trouble, bad breaks. We could go around worried, stressed. But when you know God has you hidden, that He’s put you in a safe place, that because the blood of Christ is over your doorpost, because you belong to Him, He’s made you invisible to the enemy. He has a hedge of protection that nothing can cross without His permission. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it’s not going to come near you. Why? You’re in the shelter of the Most High. He has you covered. He’s covered your health, covered your marriage, covered your children, covered your finances, covered your dreams.
Ask Him to help you. Ask for His strength. When you admit your dependence on Him, you humble yourself and say, “God, I can’t do this on my own. I can’t defeat this giant; it’s not going away.” God will step in and help you conquer what’s holding you back.
