The Scripture says, “No person can take your joy.” They can’t take it. You have to give it. Don’t go the next twenty years letting the same things upset you: the same people, same traffic, same delays.
If you’ll grow, if you’ll respond differently, sometimes God will remove it. But here’s the key, even if He doesn’t remove it, because you’ve changed, because your character has come up higher, it’s not going to affect you. I’ve found that when God is not changing the circumstance, He’s using the circumstance to change me.
