If you’re only going to be happy if God does what you want, then you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s not our plan; it’s God’s plan. It’s not what we want; it’s what God wants. The beauty is that God’s way is the best way. If He followed our plan and did what we always had in mind, we wouldn’t see the fullness of our destiny. The Scripture says that nothing can stop His plan. Things may stop our plan, but what He has purposed will come to pass. You have to be still and know that He is God.
