You may be in a season of silence. You feel like you’re hidden, but the silence doesn’t mean God has forgotten about you. He’s heard every prayer. He’s seen every tear, and at the right time, He’s going to bring you into what He has already prepared. God is not preparing the blessing for you; He’s preparing you for the blessing. The Scripture talks about the amazing things God has prepared for those who love the Lord. Favor is already in your future. There are blessings that already have your name of them, divine connections with the right people are already lined up. When you keep passing the test in the silent seasons, you keep getting prepared, then you’re going to come into more than you can ask or think.

Sometimes we get worn down, we’re tired of believing. We tried and it didn’t work out. The next time we have a challenge, we don’t even get our sword out. We get conditioned to it. Don’t accept defeat. Don’t let mediocrity, addictions, dysfunction become normal, to where you think, “It’s just my lot in life.” Start declaring what God says about you. Start expecting His favor. Start thanking Him when there’s no sign of it, praising when nothing is turning around. That’s what faith is all about.
