2025 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.
The Lord Jesus stood apart from the religious leaders of His day. Everything about Him – the way He lived, the words He spoke, and especially the way He prayed – was different. His prayers were not routine or empty tradition; they were filled with power, purpose, and results. It was clear to those around Him that He had a transcendent and awe-inspiring relationship with God.
The disciples, having watched Him closely, eventually came to Him with a simple yet profound request: “Master, teach us to pray.” This request carried great weight. As Jews, they were already familiar with the practice of prayer. They had grown up with it; it was woven into the fabric of their daily lives. Yet, they recognised something unique in the way Jesus prayed. His prayers were effective. They saw that He was truly heard by the One to whom He prayed. They never saw the religious leaders pray like that. And even more astonishing, it seemed as though whoever Jesus was talking to responded, as His life reflected answers to those prayers.
As you study the Gospels, the Book of Acts, and the Epistles, you discover that they indeed learnt to pray like Jesus. Through their writings, they taught us to pray as Jesus taught them, and now, we also pray like Jesus and have results like Jesus. When you get to know prayer like this, you’ll love to pray.
Today, we are invited into that same experience. Prayer is not merely a duty; it is communion with God. It is where we align ourselves with His will, effect changes and make things happen through prayer. When we learn to pray as Jesus prayed, prayer becomes a vital and powerful part of our Christian Walk. It is through prayer that we partner with God to see His purposes fulfilled in our lives, in the lives of others, and across the world.

PRAY
My prayers are powerful and effective, imbued with the authority to cause changes in my life, my family and my world. Every word I speak in prayer carries power and produces results. Thank you, Lord, for making me an agent of change.
