2025 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.

Bro, people have been saying Jesus is coming soon for ages. If He was really coming, wouldn’t He have come already?” Maybe this was someone’s response when you tried to talk to them about the Rapture and get them prepared for it; they mocked and doubted just like they did in Bible times. 2 Peter 3:3 (TLB) says, “…in the last days there will come scoffers who will do every wrong they can think of and laugh at the truth.” Some would even say, “I’ve been hearing about Jesus coming back since I was a child; if He was ever coming back, He would have come by now!”
But here’s what they don’t get: God doesn’t measure time the way we do. 2 Peter 3:8 NLT explains, “But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.” When God communicates a message to you in a certain way and then repeats it in reverse, He’s emphasizing that these are not exaggerations or generic statements. What He’s indicating is that, in prophetic language, a day can represent a thousand years, and a thousand years can be like one day. What seems like a delay to us is actually part of God’s perfect plan.

So why hasn’t Jesus returned? It’s not because God forgot His promise. It’s because He’s patient. He’s giving people more time to turn to Him. 2 Peter 3:15 NLT says we should “… remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved.” Every extra day is another chance for someone to find Jesus. So instead of doubting, let this truth fuel your faith. God’s patience is love in action! Use this time wisely— share the Gospel, grow in your walk with Christ, and be ready! Because when the time comes, He will return, just like He promised.
