2025 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.
“Hey, Freida, I’ve not been seeing you in our weekly Bible study meetings lately. What’s up?” Chris enquired.
“I’ve just been swamped with schoolwork, house chores, my art club project, and whatnot, Freida groaned.
“I get it. It can be quite overwhelming juggling all these things, but our Bible study meetings are important because they help you increase in your knowledge of God’s Word. So try and find a balance, alright?” Chris advised.
“I sure will. Thanks for looking out for me, Chris,” Freida smiled.
There’s so much to learn from the prayer of the Spirit the Apostle Paul prayed in our opening scripture. It not only shows you what a true and balanced Christian life is; it also reveals God’s will for you as a Christian.
The Lord Jesus always pleased the Father. He said in John 8:29, “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him”. Your life’s work should be to always and only do what pleases God. Along with this, Paul says “being fruitful in every good work.” Imagine living a life where you’re productive and successful in every good thing you do. That’s the kind of excellent life we have in Christ Jesus.
Some people do well in their academics and other things but don’t grow in their knowledge of God. No! God wants your life to be balanced. Don’t let your work at home or school keep you from praying, studying the Bible, and growing in your faith. Walk in righteousness; please the Lord in all things; be fruitful in every good work; and increase in the knowledge of God. That’s the true life of the Christian—a balanced and excellent life, Hallelujah!
