2023 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.

“Marc, do I have to listen to messages all the time? You just played one in the morning, and now you want to play another two before bed?” Todd, Marc’s younger brother, bickered. “Hmm, imagine you had to go a whole week without any breakfast, lunch, or dinner every day; you’d be weak and unable to carry out simple tasks, right?” “Yeah, I guess so,” replied Jude. “In the same way, you can’t have increased faith if your spirit isn’t fed with spiritual food—God’s Word.” The first step to increasing your faith is knowing how it comes: faith comes by hearing: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Therefore, if you’re going to have more faith, you have to hear more of God’s Word. You can’t listen to negative things that produce fear and expect your faith to increase; that’ll only build more fear in you. Inundate your spirit with the Word. Also, hearing God’s Word is one thing, but until you act on the Word you’ve received, your faith will be weak and you’ll stagger when you face adversities.

Weak faith is the result of a lack of exercise of faith, so grow your faith strong through the exercise of your faith. Strong faith is prevailing faith; it doesn’t stagger. Abraham had such strong faith: “…Against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:18-20). A rapacious appetite for the Word of God will of necessity bolster faith in you to tame circumstances, keep Satan where he belongs, and cause you to live triumphantly every day. But you must keep exercising your faith to keep it strong.

Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to hear and receive your Word. My faith is increased even now as a result of your Word that has come to me today.
