SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2025
While I was yet a medical student years ago, I attended a programme where a healing evangelist ministered. After the service ended, a young boy of about twelve and his sister were still waiting at the altar. I went to them and asked what was happening. His sister, desperate and emotional, said, “My brother is deaf and dumb. The preacher has gone, and today is the last day.”
I asked her, “Do you believe it was God who healed the people during the programme and not the preacher?”
She said, “Yes sir.”
I told her, “Okay, I will pray for your brother.” I prayed, and immediately, the young boy began to hear and speak for the first time in his life. He could hear clearly like anyone else. That was the first miracle I ever saw — and I was not yet a pastor.
That is what I call the exercise of faith.
After that encounter, I desired to meet another deaf person to pray for. From then on, anytime I entered a church and heard that there were deaf people there, I knew they would be healed.
Beloved, just as bodybuilders build muscles through consistent exercise, faith also grows through exercise.
In 1 Samuel 17:24-51, David had faith to kill Goliath because he had built his faith fighting and killing lions and bears.
1 Samuel 17:36
Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them…
In other words, David was saying, “I have carried 99kg before, so I know 100kg is possible.”
Beloved, today’s fight prepares you for tomorrow’s victory. Do not run away from battles. They are not designed to finish you, but to furnish you for your future.
Faith grows through use. So whenever someone around you is sick or challenged, see it as an opportunity to exercise your faith. If you dodge challenges, faith cannot grow. If the devil comes a thousand times, confront him a thousand times. Soon, he will avoid you.
Beloved, do not allow your faith to die. Do not maintain weak faith. Build it up!
Remember this: Today’s fight prepares you for tomorrow’s victory.
