Thought for The Day:
When people are confronted with insults that border on their bodily defects or deficiencies, they lose their self-esteem.

PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 16TH NOVEMBER 2023.
It has been discovered that low self-esteem or low self-worth is a major weapon that satan uses to deprive people of their glorious destiny in God.
Let me share a story with you.
A young man, who used to steal pens and pencils when he was a child, told me some time ago how his father’s negative words contributed to his bad habit of stealing. He said that every time his father saw him, he would say to him, “Thief! Thief! Thief! Thief!” His father always called him thief, and that was how he became a thief.
As he grew up, he said he kept hearing that voice. Anytime he saw something valuable, the voice would say, “Take it. Nobody is looking.” Even things he did not need, the voice would command him to take them.
Another thing that contributed to low self-esteem is insults based on bodily defects. When people are confronted with insults that border on their bodily defects or deficiencies, they lose their self-esteem. You know, heartless and wicked people can say anything to anybody anytime to ridicule and insult them.
When you say that someone is too short, did that person create himself or herself? Some people insult others with words like, “You are too tiny. Your nose is too big. Your head is too big.” That is too bad!
My wife once prayed for a young lady who was molested as a child. Wicked robbers invaded where she lived and abused almost everyone. And this young lady grew up with low self-esteem or low sense of value for her life.
Today, I decree that any wrong word that has affected your mind, your life and your sense of value, is nullified in Jesus’ Name. I decree that your life is reborn; your mind has been refined, your confidence is coming back, your value and self-worth is restored in Jesus’ Name!
Remember this: When people are confronted with insults that border on their bodily defects or deficiencies, they lose their self-esteem.
