SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2025
It has been established that everyone living on the earth today exists for a purpose. There is no purposeless entity on the face of the earth. Throughout Scriptures, God made clear what I may call two dimensions of purpose for man. One is the general purpose of man, and the other is the specific purpose of man where everyone has a unique assignment on earth.
Now, what is the general purpose all about?
It is the purpose of dominion, occupying the earth on behalf of God (Genesis 1:26–28). And in Isaiah 43:21, our anchor Scripture, we see another dimension of our general purpose of existence spelt out by God Himself: He formed us to show forth His praise.
Psalm 150:6 corroborates this: “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the LORD.” That is, for as long as there is breath in your nostrils, you are under a divine mandate to praise and worship God (Psalm 102:18). So, our existence is synonymous with praise and worship (Psalm 119:175, Isaiah 43:21).
Lucifer was the archangel that covereth; and he was wired for worship. The Scripture says that the workmanship of tabrets was wired into Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:12–17). He was so beautiful and musical that the flap of his wings was music. But he became corrupted with pride. He became a sinner in a place where there was no sin nor the temptation to sin, and so, he is beyond redemption.
God must have told him, “Is this how you want to behave? I am going to create man from ordinary dust to humble you, to humiliate your pride, and position him to worship me.”
Beloved, that is why Satan is against your worship and praise to God—because it reminds him of what he lost.
Beloved, you are not giving a full account of your existence if you don’t understand what it means to worship or praise God.
Remember this:
Our existence is synonymous with praise and worship.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Maintain a lifestyle of praise and worship; let praise and worship not leave your heart, no matter the circumstance.
Live a life that is free of sin because sin hinders the flow of praise and worship.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for the privilege of life. As long as I am breathing, I will give You praise. Help me, Lord, to live a life that will glorify Your Name, in Jesus’ Name.
