SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 26TH DECEMBER 2025
It has been established throughout Scripture that faith is a major determinant of both the quality and quantity of man’s life. If a man must live, his faith must be alive.
Faith gives us access to the thoughts and ways of God so we can experience the acts and wonders of God (Psalm 91:1–2). So, if we must experience the act of God both in Divine preservation and in other aspects of life, our faith must be alive. We must trust and believe in God and in His Word.
Habakkuk 2:4 says, the just shall live by his faith. And Ephesians 6:16 says that faith is a shield, Taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
That means faith shields us from death and destruction. Faith is our shield of defence and preservation against the onslaughts of the devil. If the devil fires arrows from hell, you can stop them with the shield of faith.
Beloved, the development of faith is a non-negotiable responsibility for every child of God. You don’t develop your faith because you want to; you develop your faith because you have to. Faith is too crucial to be ignored. Life answers to faith; life is at the mercy of faith. No wonder, Habakkuk 2:4 says, …the just shall live by his faith.
What does this mean to you?
- Faith is the lifeline of every child of God. Your faith is your lifeline, just like the Word of God.
- Faith is a weapon of defence.
- Faith moves God into action to confirm what you believe Him for. Faith is the lifeline of the saint.
You see, faith is our weapon of defence. It is faith that moves God into action because, without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
A man once testified of how a declaration of faith: “I cannot die like a chicken,” saved his life. That was faith speaking out of the revelation of the Word. That revelation charges you up to the point where you boldly declare, “I can’t die like a chicken.”
Beloved, maintain faith and trust in God for the preservation of your life and destiny.
REMEMBER THIS: Life answers to faith; life is at the mercy of faith.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Build your faith daily through the study and meditation of God’s Word.
- Consistently speak Words of faith over your life and situation.
PRAYER: Father, I receive fresh grace to maintain unwavering faith and trust in You. Let my faith be strong enough to quench every fiery dart of the wicked, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
