SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 2ND DECEMBER 2025
It is important to note that godly character is a secret of unstoppable enlargement and a key to ending with God in eternity. We live in a time where the fear of God is rapidly disappearing. There is a generational bankruptcy of reverence for God, and massive apostasy everywhere—fire brand Christians becoming water brand Christians, many caught in sin, worldliness, and ungodliness.
So, how do you uphold godly character in a time like this? One major key is maintaining an unhidden Christian identity.
When your identity as a Christian is open and visible, it becomes easier to uphold godly character. If you want to survive the days we are living in, you must boldly show that you belong to God (Matthew 5:13–14).
WHAT MAINTAINING AN UNHIDDEN CHRISTIAN IDENTITY DOES FOR YOU
1. It delivers you from unnecessary temptations.
When people know your stand, they know what not to try with you. A known Christian is often exempted from certain temptations because people already know your stance. Your appearance, speech, and conduct either attract or repel temptation.
2. It delivers you from wrong company.
You attract who you are. If you appear worldly, worldly people will gravitate towards you. Light and darkness cannot mix. When you stand openly for God, the wrong people automatically avoid you.
3. It attracts divine favour and backing.
When you stand for God, He stands by you (Mark 16:20). Daniel was a man of integrity and God backed him (Daniel 1:8–9). In your office, school, or business, if you take a stand for God, He will stand for you.
4. It strengthens your commitment to godly character.
When you publicly declare who you are, it compels you to live up to it. When people know you are a believer, it motivates you to avoid compromise and maintain a godly lifestyle.
Beloved, do not hide your identity as a follower of Jesus Christ. Boldness about your faith helps you uphold godly character with ease.
Remember this: When you stand for God, He stands by you.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
Refuse to hide your Christian identity anywhere you go.
Disconnect from people who are willing to compromise to achieve their desires.
Ask God for grace to overcome temptations.
PRAYER:
Lord, I ask for a fresh baptism of the fear of God. My life is Yours, Lord. Give me the grace to openly declare and live out my identity as a follower of Jesus, in Jesus’ Name.
