Seeds Of Destiny Devotional 29th January 2026 – Speak Your Revelation

The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

Sometime ago, someone came to me and told me, “Pray for me or I die.” I replied to the person, “Do you want to die? If you want to die, then what is the use of my prayer? It is unto you according to your faith. If you are already talking death, I can’t talk you out of it.”

Beloved, be optimistic, positivistic, enthusiastic and audacious. Speak with courage despite fear; that was how David spoke. Align your talk with light from Scripture. Don’t talk carelessly; talk strategically. Don’t speak your situation; speak your revelation. Don’t speak your frustration; speak your conviction. Don’t speak what you feel; speak what He wills. That is the law of faith.

So, you don’t speak what is happening, but what is written.

Isaiah 8:20 says, To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The Scripture above is a spot diagnosis. When you see anyone speaking calamity all the time, it is because there is no light in them.

In our house, no one can say that food or anything else has finished. Nothing can finish; they can only need replacement.

Many years ago, we were in an elevator, and someone asked, “Is this lift going down?” I said, “Never, I will never go down in life, but in case you are going to the reception, you can join us.”

I knew a young man who complained about everyone else perennially. He would say, “This person is terrible. Everyone hates me,” etc. Guess what? Those who didn’t know him before would hate him even before they met him.

Beloved, endeavour to align your talk with light from the World of God.

REMEMBER THIS: When you see anyone speaking calamity all the time, it is because there is no light in them.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Don’t keep quiet when your destiny is being decided.

2. Always speak your conviction out of revelation from the Word of God, and not your frustration.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to see beyond the immediate. I will always speak positively in line with Your Word and Covenant, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
