SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2026
It has been established in Scripture that beyond redeeming us from sin, the death of Christ guaranteed our access to our inheritance in God, both in time and in eternity. God is interested in the wellbeing and prosperity of His children.
The Scripture also makes it clear that the Kingdom of God will be spread through prosperity (Zechariah 1:17). A major characteristic of the end time church is the flow of supernatural financial resources for global evangelism and impact.
However, not every child of God is living in the realm of abundance. Some people are struggling to survive today, not because God is not faithful, but rather because they have not discovered the secrets to living in wealth and abundance or they are not living according to those secrets.
This is why it is crucial to explore the pathway to wealth. And in our study today, we shall be exploring one of the secrets to wealth and abundance as children of God, and that is WISDOM.
There is a strong connection between wisdom and wealth. The manifestation of wisdom is always followed by the maximization of wealth.
In Genesis 41:39, Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Forasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art.” That wisdom immediately produced wealth. Joseph was set over Egypt, clothed in fine linen, given a gold chain, made to ride on the second chariot of Pharaoh the king, and became ruler over the land. You see, wisdom came first, and wealth followed.
The same wealth-provoking wisdom was evident in Solomon. 1 Kings 10:23–25 says, So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth sought to hear Solomon’s wisdom, which God had put in his heart. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
Beloved, anywhere wisdom is on ground, wealth is at home. Wealth travels in the direction of wisdom. Supernatural wealth follows supernatural wisdom.
Please take note of these:
1. Money making is an art that can be learnt, and the act of learning money-making is called financial intelligence. Financial intelligence produces financial increase, while financial ignorance produces financial insufficiency. It is not enough to make money; wisdom is needed to manage it properly to ensure you don’t fall back into lack and want like the prodigal son (Luke 15:15).
2. Wealth is a lifestyle sponsored by a mindset. And poverty is also a lifestyle sponsored by a mindset. Poor-minded people think of what to buy when money comes. Wealth-minded people think of how to multiply the money that enters their hands. Poor people have a hunter mentality – kill and eat. Rich people have a shepherd mentality – breed and multiply.
Beloved, you need the Wisdom of God to appropriate your God-given wealth. And you connect Divine wisdom through the written and spoken Word of God, communion with God and by acting on revealed insight.
Remember this: Wealth travels in the direction of wisdom. Supernatural wealth follows supernatural wisdom.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Reject every poverty mindset and embrace the wealth mindset; think multiplication, not spending.
2. Make demands on the wisdom of God.
3. Be discreet in making financial decisions and be prudent in spending.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for your Word to me today. I receive wisdom for financial intelligence, godly priorities, and the right mentality, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
