SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 1ST JANUARY 2025

Welcome to the year 2026. God graciously took us through 2025 in a glorious way, and we experienced His mercy, goodness and
interventions in diverse ways. To God be the glory!

We trust God to fill our hearts with unspeakable joy and grant us help as we journey through 2026.

We serve the God of times and seasons. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose
under the heaven: We also serve the God of new things. As it is written, Behold, I do a new thing; now it springs forth,
do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 42:9-10).

It is important to note that new seasons come with new things and new possibilities (Psalms 19:1-2). We have left one season
and stepped into a new season, a new year. The God of new things has new things in store for us in this season.

The question now is, how do you maximise a new season? In our study today, we shall be looking at a few ways we can truly
maximise a new season and make the most of it.

  1. Approach every new season with appreciation (Psalm 103:1-5).

Approach the new season with appreciation for:

    i. God’s goodness in the past season—the good things we have seen, including the gift of life. (Psalm 103:1-5).

ii. The possibilities in the new season (Ephesians 3:20).

iii. The perfection of all things (Psalms 138:8).

Some people ruin a new season by approaching it with murmuring and complaining. But if we must see the best of a new season,
we must approach it with appreciation.

  2. Completely hand over the new season into God’s Hands (Proverbs 3:5-6).

    Why is this important?

    a. Nothing gets out of hand from the Hands of God.

    b. Nothing in God’s Hand can go wrong. Things only go wrong when they leave God’s Hands. Many people’s lives go astray
because they try to handle things their own way. Even if challenges arise in God’s hands, He will fix them.

    c. Nothing in God’s Hands ever remains the same. The five loaves and two fish could not stay the same when they were passed
through His Hands; they multiplied and became enough to feed thousands.

Beloved, if you hand over this year 2026 into God’s Hands, the year cannot get out of control, it cannot go wrong, and it cannot
    remain the same.

REMEMBER THIS: Nothing gets out of hand from the Hands of God.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Thank God profusely for making you see a new year.
  2. Completely hand over the season into God’s Hands.
  3. Refuse to dwell on the past.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your goodness in the past year, 2025. Thank You for the things You have in store for me in this new year.
I know You will perfect all that concerns me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
