SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2025
It has been confirmed that no one can walk backwards into the future. When a person’s heart and focus remain trapped in the past, their life naturally moves backwards.
Some time ago, a young man sent me a message recounting events from seventeen years earlier, including someone who offended him. I told him, “I am surprised these things are still in your heart. How can you step into your tomorrow when your past is still so important to you?” I advised him not to send me any message again unless it had something to do with progress.
Many people keep talking about who wronged them, who betrayed them, or who disappointed them. Even when God begins to lift them, they still cling to past hurts.
But the truth is: those who are married to the past are divorced from the future.
Who hurt you?
Who jilted you?
Who ignored you?
Who refused to support you?
If you remain tied to past offences, you disconnect yourself from the glorious future God prepared for you. It is time to release the past.
Your focus determines your destination. Those who look forward move forward. Those who look backward go backward. Continually looking down, in discouragement or depression, pulls life downward. But looking up to God lifts you higher.
God is saying: “Separate yourself from the past so you can embrace your future.”
REMEMBER THIS:
Those who are married to the past are divorced from the future.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Make a conscious effort to let go of the things behind you so you can pursue what lies ahead with focus and strength.
Forgive and disconnect from past hurts.
PRAYER:
Father, help me to forget the things which are behind and empower me to reach forth to the things which are before. I receive grace to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Amen.
