Seeds Of Destiny Devotional 17th September 2025 – Reigning by Wisdom

A study of the Scriptures confirms that God’s eternal plan for man is to reign as king on the earth. This was established from creation when God made man in His image and gave him dominion (Genesis 1:26–28). Though sin corrupted man’s destiny, God’s intention never changed. As 1 Peter 2:9 affirms, we are chosen to be a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and God’s possession, called to declare His praise.

There are three dimensions of rulership God designed for man:

1. Rulership over spiritual forces (Luke 10:19). Man was created to dominate and subdue principalities, powers, witches, demons, and devils—not to be oppressed by them.

2. Rulership in fulfilling potential and assignments (Deuteronomy 28:1–2). Whatever your calling—whether ministry, medicine, law, or business—you are designed to excel at the top.

3. Rulership over resources (Psalm 24:1; Haggai 2:8). God owns silver and gold and entrusts resources to His people for His purposes. Money itself responds to divine assignments (Ecclesiastes 10:19).

The key to this rulership is wisdom. Proverbs 8:14–16 shows that kings reign by wisdom. Divine insight, revelation, and sound judgment position you in charge in life. Like Solomon, wisdom can put you in command of wealth and influence.

One critical way to deploy wisdom is through the right mindset. Wisdom is a product of mentality. Kings rule by awareness, not by size or strength. The lion, for instance, dominates not because of its size but because of its sense of authority (Proverbs 30:30). Inferiority mentality, therefore, is destructive to destiny.

If you want to reign in life, walk in divine wisdom and maintain the right mindset.

Remember this: Mentality is what determines destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Refuse to feel inferior to anybody.

2. Ask God for His wisdom before making destiny decisions.

3. Search the Scriptures to know your identity in Christ, believe it, and live it.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for creating me to reign. By Your wisdom, I take charge and live in dominion, in Jesus’ Name.
