SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2026
In life, there are products and byproducts. The product is good—indeed, very good—but the byproduct can be excellent as well. In the process of refining crude oil to obtain petrol, other valuable materials are also produced. After extracting the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), products for engine oil, road construction, and more can be derived from the same crude source.
This also applies to vision; there are byproducts that accompany vision in life. These are the goodness of vision.
Today, we look at one of these: Vision produces a sense of urgency.
Our anchor scripture confirms that people of vision are runners: “…that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk 2:1). People of vision are people with a sense of urgency.
Beloved, note the following about urgency:
1. Vision causes people to place a high value on time.
People of vision value time because they understand that destiny is time-sensitive. A person without vision rarely values time.
Consider this illustration: someone went to the airport to catch a flight, but got into a conversation with a person who was travelling nowhere. Engrossed in the discussion, he missed his flight. If he had been with fellow passengers on the same journey, they would have listened for the announcement together or reminded one another. Association with visionless people can cost you destiny opportunities.
2. Vision brings deliverance from indecision and procrastination.
Indecision is the inability to make up one’s mind on time. Procrastination is delaying necessary action. People of vision think through their options diligently and decide quickly. People without vision delay decisions and actions.
It is best not to miss the road at all. But if you do, retrace your steps quickly. It is far better to change course than to remain stuck on the wrong path.
Remember this: People of vision know that destiny is time sensitive.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Keep at least one clear vision before you that you are actively pursuing.
2. Avoid the company of visionless people.
3. Ask God for the grace to accomplish your vision.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to conceive the right vision. Help me to run with it and accomplish it to the glory of Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
