SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 12TH DECEMBER 2025
The Bible makes it clear that God is love (1 John 4:8). And in the beginning, God created the earth (Genesis 1:1). This means the earth was created by Love, and it was designed to operate in love and by love.
Unfortunately, we live in a generation where many people are empty of love. That is why it is important to understand the major principles of love so we can walk in it.
What is love all about?
1. Love is about maintaining goodwill and kind-heartedness toward others.
This means wishing people well and being kind to them.
Many people are full of ill will. If you look happy, it troubles them; if you appear troubled, they suddenly become interested.
Our world is filled with envy and hatred. Nobody wants to see another rise. This behaviour is like crabs in a basket—none can escape because each one pulls the other down. I call it “crabology.”
The truth is: what you don’t like, you must lack; what you don’t celebrate, you will never attract.
Wherever you see good things, rejoice with them. Whatever you sow is what you reap (Luke 6:38).
No star shines by dimming another star. Another person’s success is not the reason for your failure.
Therefore, wish your spouse, friends, neighbours, and everyone well.
2. Love is about having a healthy consideration for the feelings, emotions, and hurts of others.
This means feeling what others feel and letting your actions reflect their emotions and concerns.
Today, many people are hardened toward the feelings of their spouses, friends, and even strangers.
What pains you will also pain others. Some people have no regard for human feelings—killers, ritualists, kidnappers—people who care only about money and not the agony of the victims’ families.
Our world is upside down because we have abandoned God’s framework of love.
The good Samaritan considered the feelings of the wounded man. You don’t need to travel far to show love—start with the people around you.
Consider the emotions of those close to you.
Remember this: What you don’t like, you must lack, and what you don’t celebrate, you will never attract.
Assignments:
Pray for everyone you know who is blessed, and trust God to lift you as well.
Show love and kindness to the people around you, especially those in need.
Before taking any action, consider how it will affect others.
Forgive those who hurt you and refuse to intentionally hurt anyone.
Prayer:
Lord, I receive the grace to make a positive impact on the lives of people. When others encounter me, let them feel Your love through me. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
