SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 11TH DECEMBER 2025
I once heard the story of Colonel Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). Before he became successful, he operated a small restaurant. At age 65, he experienced a major setback when a new highway in the USA diverted traffic away from his business in Corbin, Kentucky. The new road caused his restaurant to become hidden, and vehicles no longer passed by his location.
He ran out of business and had to start again at age 65 with only a unique chicken recipe. When he began to advertise this recipe, almost everyone rejected him. Many said, “I don’t need it. I can also cook chicken.” But he refused to give up.
He kept trying until he made nearly 2,000 proposals. Eventually, one person accepted his idea—and that changed everything.
Today, KFC is known across America, Europe, and many nations around the world. Colonel Sanders died a millionaire in dollars because he embraced diligence, refused to be stopped by opposition, and trusted the God who rewards labour.
Beloved, no matter your age, you can start again. If God started with Abraham at 75, Moses at 80, and Caleb at 85, then your age is not a disadvantage. You can begin again.
It is also important to understand that no matter how much you pray or fast, laziness attracts no reward from God. You might be committed in church, even a leader or pastor, but if you sleep from morning till night and do nothing meaningful, then you need to wake up.
Some people spend their days roaming about, doing nothing productive, yet wonder why God is not blessing them. God rewards diligence, not idleness. Diligence is one of God’s ladders to the top. The hand of the diligent shall rule (Proverbs 12:24). Diligence births rulership; slothfulness creates servitude.
Beloved, do you desire a place at the top? Then be diligent. Refuse laziness. Do not be discouraged by resistance or setbacks. Keep working. Keep praying. Keep trusting God. You will rise to the top.
Remember this: I don’t care how old you are, you can start again.
Assignments:
Be determined to succeed irrespective of the circumstances around you.
Believe in God and believe in yourself.
Resist resistance in prayer and silence opposition with consistent action.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your thoughts toward me—thoughts of good and not of evil. As I embrace diligence, take me to the top and give me my expected end, in Jesus’ Name.
