RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER 2026.
Your life as a Christian isn’t designed to fluctuate between victory and defeat. God’s desire isn’t for you to have occasional good days interrupted by difficult ones. His plan is for you to live in an unending stream of victories. The Message version describes it as a perpetual victory parade: “…In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade…” (2 Corinthians 2:14). It’s also one of the reasons for being filled with the
Spirit. When you’re full of the Holy Spirit, you have a different consciousness because the Holy Spirit governs your thoughts, words and actions. You see only victory.
You’re always and only conscious of the glory of God. When you’re full of the Spirit, it shows in your language. Instead of speaking defeat, discouragement, or uncertainty, you speak faith and victory. You look at your future with confidence because the Holy Spirit has filled your heart with God’s vision. Rather than focusing on obstacles, you see possibilities. You encourage yourself in the Lord and declare, “I’m a success; I win every day.
My future is glorious. My path shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.” Hallelujah! Never accept the world’s idea or philosophy that everyone has bad days and good days. Don’t adopt the mentality that some days are destined for failure while others are reserved for success. That’s not your life in Christ. Every day is another opportunity to manifest the victory Christ has already given you. Read our opening scripture again and notice the word “always.”
Your victories aren’t occasional; they’re perpetual because your triumph is in Christ. Don’t give Satan a chance to dictate your experiences or define your expectations. You’re an absolute victor twenty-four hours a day, every day of the week, every day of the year. Therefore, maintain the consciousness of victory. Stay full of the Holy Spirit through fellowship with the Word and prayer, and let your words consistently reflect the life of triumph that’s already yours in Christ.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for filling me with your Holy Spirit and causing me always to triumph in Christ. I refuse every mentality of defeat, limitation or discouragement. My words are filled with faith, my heart is full of joy, and I walk in perpetual victory every day, manifesting your glory everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
